WELCOME TO MAKERSPACE 101
Let the Creating Begin!
A makerspace is a place where students can gather to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover using a variety of tools and materials. What do you do at a makerspace? Simply put, you make things. It is crafting, engineering, technology and is creatively-driven. "The most important quality of a makerspace is that it encourages creativity" (Edutopia).
Makerspace 101 is a hands-on, process based and directed art enrichment program
for children and families that focuses on the creative process of art.
Makerspace 101 is a children's mobile art program.
